Road closures on Saturday 24th
Multiple road closures will affect our campsite on Saturday 24th October caused by the eryri marathon. The organisers advise that: Llanberis Pass (A4085) will be closed from 9:30 am until @11:30 am (as a rolling closure going behind the last runner). A section of Llanberis High Street (from the Doctor’s Surgery to Capel Coch Road) will be closed from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm. Bryn Goleu (in Waunfawr) will be closed from 11:00 am until 3:30 pm.
A one-way system will be in place from the Watkin Path Car Park along the A498 to the Pen-y-gwryd junction. This will be in place between 10:45 and 1 pm on race day.
Clearways will be imposed in Beddgelert (from the bridge up to and beyond Warws Beddgelert) and Llanberis High Street (from the Gwynedd Hotel to Caffi Spike) from 8 pm on the 23rd until 6 pm on the 24th.
The A498 through Beddgelert will be closed between 11:15 and 2 pm to allow the bulk of the runners clear passageway through the village. This will be from Cae Du campsite through to Warws Beddgelert, cars approaching Beddgelert from the Caernarfon side will be detoured at Rhyd Ddu. Cars coming into Beddgelert from Porthmadog will not be able to pass the bridge in the middle of the village during the closure.
