Public campsite: Rates for the campsite are given below, and the links on the left give more. Our frequently asked questions are worth a look - for example bookings are not required for small groups but are essential for the barns and groups over 20 people. There is a wealth of information including campsite layout and many photos on our Images pages and useful links to outside information about the area. If your query is not answered then please contact us.

Groups using the campsite should read our special group information and group regulations. Special rates are offered for Duke of Edinburgh award and other youth groups if they meet our special conditions. Bookings are required for any groups of more than 20 people, see our group booking page.

The Llyn Gwynant Barns are large stone buildings separate from the campsite, a popular venue for weddings and other events as well as for large camping groups, our barns page has more details.

Boat hire and activities are available from the campsite riverside on weekends from June - September and most high season days when weather is suitable. We rent boats by the hour. Instruction in paddling and adventure activities such as gorge walking are available by prior arrangement for groups see boat hire or activities for more.

Touring caravans: Only 10 caravans are allowed on site at any time (15 on bank holiday weekends), and our planning permission requires that they are sited only on the main camping field Pen Helen. It is possible to book a caravan on the site in which case a fee of £10.00 is charged. Look at our touring caravan information page for more.

Rates for 2012:

Last year we held the price of adults in spite of the big VAT hike in January 2011 and punishing local business rates increases. However this year we have increased the adult rate in the low season and also charge for empty tents. However we have a long term discount of £1.00 per night for adults who pay for 5 days or more on arrival, though only if this is paid in advance and no refunds can be given if you leave early. As always hot showers are free, and we do not charge for cars, occupied tents (unless they are extra large) or for the use of our firepits. It is also free to launch your own (sail or paddle) boats on the lake if you are camping on our site.

Visitors who are not camping may also use the lakeside and campsite. Rates per day are as follows:

minibus parking	£5.00	must be parked on the hard standing carparks, not taken onto the campsite
