Public campsite: Use the links on the lower left to find out more about our campsite. Rates for the campsite are given below, for the barns see our Barns page. Please also read our regulations. Our frequently asked questions will answer most queries - for example bookings are not required for small groups but are essential for the barns or for groups over 20 people. Also included are the routes up Snowdon, how to use local public transport, where to find meals and shops and much more. A map shows the campsite layout and we have many photos on our Images pages including panoramas of the valley. We also offer a page of useful links to outside information about the area. If your query is not answered then please contact us.

Boat hire and activities: We have our own boat hire facilities on the site most weekends in the summer and every day during the high season when weather is suitable. We rent boats by the hour and can offer instruction by prior arrangement. We also operate an orienteering course and families are especially welcome. See our boat hire and activities page for more.

Groups: Groups can be accommodated in our stone barns, see our barns information page, which are also available for functions. Groups are also be accommodated on the campsite, see our group information page and our group regulations. We also offer special rates for Duke of Edinburgh award and other youth groups if they meet our special conditions. Bookings are required for youth groups or any groups of more than 20 people, see our group booking page.

Touring caravans: Only 10 caravans are allowed on site at any time (15 on bank holiday weekends), and our planning permission requires that they are sited only on the main camping field Pen Helen. Although we do not require bookings for campers, it is possible to book a caravan on the site in which case a fee of £10.00 is charged. Look at our touring caravan information page for more.

Rates for 2008:

Note that we provide free hot showers and do not charge for campers cars nor for the use of our firepits.
