Adventure activities are now available directly from the campsite with Bob Marchant, a fully qualified provider.
A wide range of different activities are on offer with something for everyone, whether it is a wet and wild adventure in the gorge, a mountain scramble or a family canoeing trip. We provide all the equipment you need.
Activities are either for half or full days and can be pre-booked by email if you contact us. This is the best way to make sure the activity you want is offered when it suits you.
Alternatively however in the high season you can look for Bob down at the boat hire centre on the campsite – look for the pirate flag!
Standard activity rates are as follows:
Half Day (3 to 4 hours): £35 per person / £25 for under 16’s
Full Day: £70 per person / £50 for under 16’s
Group Discounts: 6 or more people, 10% off, 10 or more people 20% off. For activities over multiple days further discounts are available. contact us to find out more.
Gorge Adventure – paddle across the lake and walk up to a world of adventure in the nearby gorge! You will be guided through the mountain stream with plenty of slides, chutes and jumps into the crystal clear waters. An adventure you won’t forget!
The Big Abseil: Venture up the hill to the spectacular Clogwyn y Wenallt - the crag overlooking the campsite - and test your nerve on a 60ft abseil, whilst enjoying the view!
Beach Scrambling: A coastal rocky adventure, which gets you scrambling and climbing along, round, through and up the rocky boulders at a beautiful beach. A great activity to keep everyone moving, and perfect for family fun.
Paddling skills: Do you want to improve your skills, or just get a bit more adventurous on the water? With expert tuition your skills will soon improve and you will be paddling in style.
Raft Building – test your design and build skills making your own raft. Under expert guidance you will create your own craft, before putting it to the test in the water – will you float or ending up swimming?!!
Bespoke Days: We can help design a perfect day out for you and your friends, family or group. This could involve a whole day of adventure in the mountains or a multi-activity day full of action. Just get in touch for more ideas.
