Adventure activities are now available directly from the campsite! These are organized by fully qualified instructors, so you can now not only hire boats from the site but can also try new activities, develop new skills and grow in confidence. You can also have fun! We provide all the equipment you need.

Rock climbing: Experience the thrill of climbing on crags around Llyn Gwynant – we can find highs for the bold and the not so bold - climbs to suit all experience levels.

Abseiling:  Test your nerves on the “Big abseil” by Elephant rock. There are less demanding courses there too, all with magnificent views. Learn new skills and confidence in a beautiful setting.

Kayaking:  Extend yourself:  Beginners and experienced can always learn more: improve your paddling direct from the river and lake in double or single kayaks.

Canoeing:  Improve your strokes for forward paddling, turning on the move, moving sideways and … what to do if you find yourself swimming rather than paddling!

“Lake coasteering”:  Take to the water - If the weather’s right we take the boats out and do our own brand of coasteering on to elephant rock. Be warned: you will get wet! Wetsuits are provided.

Guided walks:  A guide can take you up one route of Snowdon and down another – leave our reception at 9,00 am and return at 4.30 pm. Or go with us up less crowded trails up Cnicht, Moel Siabod and others.

Raft building: Join a team - Build your own raft together (out of barrels, planks and rope) then put it through its paces – team building sessions for adults or children

Orienteering:  Have you experienced this outdoor challenge? There is an orienteering course set up on our land adjacent to the campsite and we can offer instruction and supervision. Compete with your group or work as a single team on a beautiful woodland course. Try to beat the campsite record!

Rates: £25/£30 per child/adult for a half day session.  Discounts for 6 or more people.
