Group Bookings are not required for small groups but they are for large groups who wish to camp in the same area of the campsite. The minimum daily rate for a group reserving one of our special areas is £150 per night, and this amount is also required as a deposit before a booking is confirmed.

This deposit is non-refundable and the balance of total visit cost less deposit must be paid in advance or on arrival at the site. We accept only cheque and cash payments at the site, but BACS and Paypal payments can be made prior to arrival, see our Payments page or Group booking form for more.

A Group tally sheet is available to keep track of the members of your group and a Group calculator spreadsheet is also provided to help you calculate in advance what the cost will be. If you let us know these numbers in advance we can provide a VAT invoice for any group visiting us who wishes to pay in advance. Please do not expect an invoice on arrival if it has not be requested in advance.

Terms and Conditions apply to groups booking at Llyn Gwynant campsite:

  • Group leader:  One member must be our designated contact, collecting fees for the group (a Group tally sheet is provided to help you do this) and maintaining good standards of behaviour.

  • Noise and behaviour must meet our campsite regulations, in particular we expect quiet talking only after 11.00 pm. As with other campers we may require a noise/behaviour bond of £20.00 per head which is refundable if all is well. Subsequent successful visits of a registered group will not require a bond. No radios or sound systems of any kind are allowed, nor are generators.

  • Minimum per night fee for a group is £150 per night.

  • Minimum nights stay is 2 nights for a weekend booking, 3 nights for a bank holiday.

  • Payment of the group balance (visit cost less deposit) is due on arrival.

  • Arrival and departure times: arrival is after 2.00 pm and departure before 11.00 am.
  • Fires are permitted on steel firepits at the site, with wood sold each evening.

  • Rubbish must be deposited in the main campsite bins, with glass and cans separated for recycling - labeled bins can be provided on request to help with recycling.

To make a booking first read the terms and conditions below, the Group regulations page and look at the Campsite map to determine where you prefer to have your group located. Then contact us to ensure that the dates you require are available as we do restrict the number of large groups on site at any one time.

When the group area and dates are agreed we will hold a provisional booking for up to two weeks. To confirm the booking a completed Group booking form and a non-refundable deposit of £150.00 are required. Payments may be by cheque or BACS, see our Group booking form for details or use our Payments page.

It is important that every group is aware of our campsite regulations, check out our Campsite regulations page as well as our Group regulations. There is also a printable document giving our booking terms and conditions pdf. If you read nothing else, please at least read our most important rules, designed to make everyone's visit more enjoyable:

1. Noise: No noisy activity after 11pm. We may require a noise bond.
2. Radios: No radios, stereos or sound systems are permitted whatsoever.
3. Firewood: Only wood bought on site is burned on site. No collecting of firewood from woods or farmland.
4. Rubbish: Please separate all cans and glass into bins provided - this is a condition of using our campsite.
5. Fire regulations: Keep 6m spacing between groups and 3m between units in your own group.

We look forward to receiving your booking. Please note that group leaders can contact us by phone on 01766 890340 or 01766 890853.
