Printable documents about events include our: The Llyn Gwynant barns are an outstanding venue for celebrations of all kinds, and the function barn is licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies. These imposing stone buildings are set in a very beautiful natural location, overlooking Llyn Gwynant lake, with private fields surrounding them. Events at the barns can include camping in these fields as well as the erection of marquees and other facilities. To get married in Llyn Gwynant barns you will need to contact the Gwynedd Registrars office: telephone 01766 771 000, or you can email them on registrars@gwynedd.gov.uk. Be sure to check with us however that the barns are available for the date you want, as they can be heavily booked. The entire barn complex is available for events, including the large indoor space of the function barn with its high roof, tall oak windows, stained glass, stage, and stone fireplace. This is a truly beautiful space which our photos can only partly express. The function barn is licenced as a venue for civil wedding and partnership ceremonies. The size of this room is approximately 12 m by 12 m and can accommodate up to 300 people, or 125 seated at tables. See our barn floor plan for the exact layout. The camping barn which adjoins the function barn is equipped with a full kitchen and food preparation area, as well as seating around a woodburning stov,. see our facilities for more details. This means that weddings and other celebrations can be fully or partly self-catered, and so can be very affordable as well as memorable events. We have experience helping those who organise weddings and other celebrations, with a list of local suppliers who have provided services at the barns, as well as a list of equipment we offer for hire. Tables, chairs, tableware and other equipment can be hired from us at competitive weekend rate, see our equipment hire information sheet. Outside the barns are wonderful views over the lake. The large flat areas close to the barns which overlook the lake are often used fo site marquees and other large tents. Other events have guest camping in these fields, with shared indoor facilities. Campers are free to use the public campsite showers and toilet block, as well as the recreational area in front of the lake and the lake itself. Some events include outdoor activities for guests, including boat hire. Paddling on the lake can be a very wonderful way to entertain guests. The whole barn complex is flexibile suiting a range of functions. Events are weekend bookings for the barn, swith a set price that includes access to the entire complex on Friday for setting up and small group camping so that the site can be prepared for a Saturday event.
