We plan to open on Friday 19th March 2010 for the coming season. It depends a little on the weather (if it is below zero we can't get the water supply going) but it usually warming up by then.
And a happy new year to all forum visitors also. |

| 1st April 2010: Easter weekend weather: We are open for easter but please be aware that there were snowfalls in the area on Wednesday 31st March. There is no snow on the campsite itself and the snowline is about 100m higher up in the hills than the campsite. The weather forecast is for some rain and perhaps more snow over the weekend so it is not ideal camping weather and the ground is quite damp. We will be keeping vehicles off most areas of the site but there is plenty of parking and you will only have a short walk (10 to 50 metres) to camping areas. For those planning a walk in the hills be aware that there will be thick snow on the mountains and there could be some avalanche risk on steep slopes. |

| Campervans are welcome and pay the normal per person rates (no extra for the van or anything). Sometimes we restrict the areas where campervans can go as they tend to be heavy vehicles and can cause a lot of grass and field damage if it is wet. But we can always find you a spot. |
